Baby Monitors for twins
One monitor system with two cameras, not two monitors. Two separate systems means two apps, two screens at 3am, and double the firmware nagging. A split-screen system pointed at two cribs is the setup that actually works when the twins move to their own room, and it is cheaper than buying twice.
With twins, prioritize a screen that shows both babies at once and a range that reaches wherever you actually collapse in the evening. Used monitors are acceptable with one serious caveat: these are cameras in your house, so factory-reset, update the firmware, and change every credential before the first nap. If the model cannot be updated anymore, it is not a deal.
Safety note: Update firmware. Replace batteries. Verify camera security/encryption.
Every verdict follows the same playbook. How we decide.
