Changing Pads for twins

One changing station, properly stocked, beats two mediocre ones. Twins share a changing pad just fine (they take turns whether they like it or not), so the base answer is one good pad on one dresser at the right height for your back, which will be doing ten-plus changes a day between the two of them.

The case for a second pad is geography, not babies: if your home has floors, a downstairs changing setup saves a staircase per diaper, and with twins that adds up fast. Pads are fine used, covers are fine used after a wash, and the wipeable no-cover designs win on twin volume grounds alone.
