If the Twin Z is the soft, plush twin nursing pillow, the My Brest Friend Twins Plus is the firmer, more structured one. The straps clip behind your back so the pillow stays at the same height through the entire feed, even when you shift. For breastfeeding moms who find the Twin Z slides down, this is the alternative.
The trade-off is heat. Firmer foam, dense fabric, less breathable. New England summers and Southern apartments without strong AC are not ideal conditions. Most moms we know who own both rotate between them: My Brest Friend in winter, Twin Z in summer.
You don't need both. Pick one based on whether you want soft and plush (Twin Z) or strapped and firm (My Brest Friend). Both work. The wrong one isn't bad, it's just less your style.
