Fair Used Prices for the 30 Most-Resold Twin Items
Our used-price ranges for the 30 twin items that change hands most, as a share of new price and in rough dollars, with the buy-new list (car seats, mattresses, pump parts) called out.
What should you pay for a used double stroller, a used Snoo, or a used twin nursing pillow? Below are our working ranges for the 30 twin items that get resold most often, expressed as a share of the new price and as rough dollars. These are estimates from watching multiples-club sales, local marketplace listings, and what our own gear actually sold for. They aren't a price guide with a spine; they're the numbers we'd have in our head before driving across town.
How to read the ranges#
- Percent of new is the useful number. Retail prices move; the ratio doesn't much. The low end is fair for a fast sale, worn but complete; the high end is excellent condition, current model, all accessories.
- New prices are the ones from our catalog, rounded. If the seller's model is two generations old, take the low end and then some.
- Twin-specific items (double strollers, tandem pillows, twin carriers) sit higher in the range than singleton gear, because demand is steady and supply is thin.
- Anything on the buy-new list at the bottom is there regardless of price. A free car seat with an unknown history is still a no.
Strollers and travel#
- UPPAbaby Vista V2 with second seat: new around $1,000 and up. Fair used 30 to 50 percent, $300 to $500. Incomplete (no adapters, no rain cover) knocks off a third.
- Bugaboo Donkey 5 Twin: new around $1,800. 20 to 35 percent, $350 to $600. Premium brands lose the most in dollars and the least in usability.
- Baby Jogger City Select 2 Double: new around $900. 30 to 40 percent, $270 to $360.
- Baby Jogger City Mini GT2 Double: new around $700. 25 to 35 percent, $150 to $250. Check the fold latch and both brakes.
- Mockingbird Single-to-Double: new $450 to $600. 30 to 45 percent, $150 to $250. Confirm the second seat is included; it's most of the value.
- Thule Urban Glide 2 Double: new around $900. 35 to 50 percent, $300 to $450. Joggers hold value; check the tires and the wrist strap.
- Joovy Twin Roo+ frame: new around $220. 30 to 45 percent, $60 to $100. Only useful with infant seats it's compatible with, so match first.
- Graco Modes Duo: new around $400. 25 to 40 percent, $100 to $160.
Sleep#
- Snoo Smart Sleeper: new around $1,700. 35 to 50 percent, $600 to $850. Verify the app still supports the unit and buy the fitted sheet and sleep sack set new. Two used Snoos at the low end cost less than one new one.
- Halo BassiNest Swivel Sleeper: new around $300. 30 to 45 percent, $90 to $135. Bassinets are used-with-caution on our pages: check the mesh, the lock, and the recall list.
- Ikea Sniglar crib: new around $80. 25 to 40 percent, $20 to $30. So cheap new that used only makes sense if it's around the corner.
- Babyletto Hudson crib: new around $400. 30 to 45 percent, $120 to $180 each. Two used Hudsons is the classic twin nursery move; check for the conversion kit.
- Kyte Baby sleep bags: new around $60 each. 30 to 50 percent, $20 to $30. Bamboo pills; check the zipper.
- Halo SleepSacks and swaddles in bundles: new $25 to $30 each. 20 to 40 percent, $5 to $10 each. Buy by the bag.
Feeding#
- Twin Z Pillow: new around $80. 40 to 50 percent, $30 to $40. Our decision page says buy new because the foam compresses and holds milk; if you do go used, this is the ceiling, and wash the cover before it meets a baby.
- My Brest Friend Twins Plus: new around $120. 35 to 50 percent, $40 to $60. Same foam caveat.
- Spectra S1 Plus motor: new around $200. 30 to 45 percent, $60 to $90. Closed system, so the motor is fine used. Every part that touches milk gets replaced new; budget $30 to $40 for the kit.
- Baby Brezza Formula Pro Advanced: new around $200. 30 to 45 percent, $60 to $90. Clean the funnel and run a calibration before the first real bottle.
- Stokke Tripp Trapp: new around $300. 35 to 50 percent, $100 to $150 each. Holds value better than anything else in the kitchen.
- Graco Blossom 6-in-1: new around $220. 25 to 35 percent, $55 to $80.
- Ikea Antilop: new around $20. No resale market. Free or $5, and honestly just buy two new.
Monitors, soothing, carriers, play#
- Nanit Pro Camera: new around $300. 40 to 55 percent, $120 to $165. Brand recognition keeps this high; confirm the account can be transferred.
- Owlet Dream Sock: new around $300. 30 to 45 percent, $90 to $135, and buy the fabric sock wraps new.
- VTech dual-camera monitors: new $170 to $200. 30 to 40 percent, $55 to $80.
- BabyBjörn Bouncer Bliss: new around $220. 40 to 55 percent, $90 to $120. The best resale of any bouncer; two used Blisses is a solid twin plan.
- 4moms MamaRoo Multi-Motion: new around $250. 30 to 45 percent, $75 to $110. Test every motion before paying.
- Fisher-Price swings and bouncers under $80 new: 15 to 30 percent, $10 to $25. Often free in twin groups.
- TwinGo Carrier: new around $180. 40 to 55 percent, $70 to $100. Rare used, so it moves fast.
- Ergobaby Omni Breeze: new around $200. 35 to 50 percent, $70 to $100. Inspect buckles and stitching.
- Skip Hop Double-Up mat or Lovevery Play Gym: new $140 to $150. 30 to 55 percent, $45 to $75. The Lovevery sits at the top of that range, the Skip Hop at the bottom.
The buy-new list, regardless of price#
- Car seats, infant and convertible. Unless you personally know the seller and the seat's full history, including every fender bender, it's a no. Expiration dates and invisible crash damage are the reasons. Two new Graco SnugRide SnugLock 35s cost less than one used premium stroller.
- Crib mattresses. Used mattresses are advised against on safe-sleep grounds. Two new Graco Premium Foam mattresses run around $140 total; not worth the saving.
- Breast pump parts that touch milk. Flanges, valves, membranes, tubing on open systems. Buy the motor used if it's a closed system; buy every part new.
- Bottles, nipples, pacifiers. Hygiene and wear. These are cheap new anyway.
- Owlet sock wraps and any sensor that sits on skin. The base station is fine; the wearable is new.
- Nursing pillow foam, if you follow our decision page strictly. We've listed the used prices above because the market exists; we'd still spend the $80.
What we'd do#
Set a ceiling from the percent column before you message a seller, then check condition, accessories, and the recall list against it. Pay the high end for twin-specific items in good shape, because they're scarce, and the low end for anything Fisher-Price. Spend the savings on two new car seats and two new mattresses, which is exactly the trade our used-gear guide recommends. Prices in this list drift; the ratios are the part to remember.

FAQ
- How much should I pay for a used double stroller?
- Roughly 25 to 50 percent of the new price, depending on brand and condition. A used UPPAbaby Vista V2 with second seat runs about $300 to $500, a Bugaboo Donkey 5 Twin $350 to $600, and a City Mini GT2 Double $150 to $250. Missing adapters or the rain cover should knock off about a third.
- What twin gear should never be bought used?
- Car seats without a fully known history, crib mattresses, breast pump parts that touch milk, bottles and pacifiers, and skin-contact sensors like Owlet sock wraps. Our decision page also says buy nursing pillows new because the foam compresses and holds milk. Everything else is fine used after an inspection and a recall check.
- Is a used Snoo a good deal for twins?
- Usually. A used Snoo sells for about 35 to 50 percent of new, so $600 to $850, and two used ones at the low end cost less than one new. Confirm the app still supports the unit, buy the fitted sheet and sleep sack set new, and check the recall list. Renting is the other sensible route.
- Where do these used price estimates come from?
- From watching multiples-club sales, local marketplace listings, and what our own gear actually sold for. They're working estimates, not a price guide. The percent-of-new ratio is the part to remember, because retail prices drift and the ratio mostly doesn't. Check completed listings in your area before you drive anywhere.
